Indiana USSSA TOURNAMENT Points Series CHAMPIONSHIP.
The 2017 Points Race Starts Now
Indianapolis, IN, March 1st, 2017 – Indiana USSSA Baseball announced today details for the 2017 Tournament Series Points Championship. Indiana USSSA Baseball Teams 7 - 14u will be entered in the Tournament Points Series upon sanctioning with USSSA. A complete list of USSSA Sanctioned Events are posted online at www.usssa.com and www.Indianausssabaseball.com.
Teams may earn points at any USSSA Sanctioned Event in the country. The Indiana USSSA State Tournament will serve as the final event of the points series. Qualifiers, NITs, Global Qualifiers, Global State, World Series, and the State Tournament all offer different point values based upon order of finish in those events. The Points Grid is posted on the top of the tournament page at www.indinaausssabaseball.com. In addition, there will be (2) Double Point Weekends in 2017. April 22nd and May 20th weekends all USSSA Points will be doubled for those events hosted in Indiana. It is very important for teams that are chasing the points championship to chose tournaments that offer the highest point totals and definitely play double points weekends. The Select 30 SUPER NIT offers the most points with 600 available.
9u – 13u (AAA/Major Division) Champion - PAID BERTH ($895 Value) into the USSSA Global World Series hosted at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana on July 13th – 16th, 2017. This is a 6 Game Guarantee Event with Opening Ceremonies and Skills Competitions. 14u AAA/Major winner can choose any other Post Season World Series as Grand park will not offer a 14u divsion.
9u – 14u (AA Division) Champion - PAID BERTH ($595 Value) into the USSSA AA World Series on July 13th-16th hosted at Field of Dreams in Noblesville for 8-12u & Indy Sports Park in Indianapolis for 13-14u. This is a 5 Game Guarantee Event with Opening Ceremonies and Skills Competitions.
7U – 8U Champions - (1) Point Champion Per Age Division and those teams will be given an Awards Package valued at $500.
*** All teams must play in the Indiana USSSA State Tournament to be eligible to win the awards.
